About Paykio

You choose a software licence in a store, and you pay for it on Paykio. Your payment gets you a licence key for the product and plan listed on the payment page. We send that key by e-mail to the address you entered at checkout.

Your purchase

You buy a licence key for the product and plan on the payment page. It lasts as long as that plan states. If the plan has a set period, such as a week or thirty days, the clock starts when the key is issued to you. It does not wait until you first use the key.

Each key is for you alone. A key that is shared, resold or made public becomes void. Void keys are not refunded.

Paying

All prices are in US dollars, with any applicable tax already included. PayPal collects the payment. You enter your card details in PayPal's own checkout window, and they are never sent to Paykio. The charge appears on your card statement as PAYPAL *PAYKIO.

Each payment link stays valid for fifteen minutes and works only once. If yours expires, go back to the store and check out again. You are not charged until a payment goes through.

Getting your key

We e-mail your key once the payment clears. This normally takes a few seconds. Sometimes a key cannot be issued at once. In that case the e-mail tells you, and the key is sent later. Your payment still stands, and we still owe you the key.

Refunds are covered on a separate page, the refund policy. That page is part of these terms.

Limits of our promise

We sell software licences "as is". We make no promise that a product fits any particular use, that it will keep working with the third-party software it relies on, or that it has no faults. Some rights under your own country's law cannot be removed by an agreement. These terms do not limit any of those rights.
